John Smith:
Born and raised in Calgary Alberta, Canada, John's love for writing was thrust upon him as a result of his love for dessert of all things! At an early age, his Father would lock him in the basement and force him to write five pages a day, if he wanted dessert.
Over the years, John's passion for writing has grown with his waistline. John holds a Journalism Arts Diploma from SAIT College and also a Communications Degree from the University of Calgary.
Writing professionally for more than seven years, John is a jack-of-all trades: Screen writer, with a few short movies under his belt, he is currently awaiting publication of his first full length. Playwright, who has written over five plays. Comic book producer, he has completed two comic books that are currently awaiting publication. In addition John creates custom comics for individuals and also writes the monthly series ''Career Comixs'' for Career Twister. Freelance journalist, John has worked for such publications as Pro-Contractor and the Calgary Sun. Novelist, John has written a 400 page fantasy novel that is currently awaiting publication.
When not attempting to take over the world with his word processor, John will most likely be found restoring vintage muscle cars, racing cars at the track, or curled up reading a good book/comic book.
